How we write this
Written for the decision
Every guide exists to help you do one thing, and says so plainly when the answer is that you probably do not need it.
Plain words, and the numbers behind them
No jargon without a translation, and every figure names where it came from and what it leaves out. Where the evidence is thin, we say that instead of rounding it up.
How we make money
Some of what we recommend links to a provider who pays us a commission. It never changes what we recommend, what order it appears in, or what you pay. The full version is here.
General guidance, not medical, legal or financial advice. Clinical statements are attributed to the body that made them, and commission is disclosed beside the recommendation rather than in a footer.
